Our Registered Massage Therapists

Kim Johnston RMT

Hi, I am Kim Johnston. I am a Registered Massage Therapist.                                             VID_4276

I became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2005 after completing a three year program at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy.  I have a strong interest in fitness and healthy living.  Through massage therapy, I help my clients move towards optimal health.  I use a range of techniques in my practice, treating
the muscles, fascia, and joints through myofascial therapy, deep tisue massage (which includes neuromuscular and triggerpoint therapies), joint play, manual stretching, and muscle energy techniques.  I
may give the client home care such as stretches, strength exercises, postural correction, or ice/heat treatments.  Pregnancy massage and sports massage are also areas of interest to me and we have special pregnancy pillows for lying in a supported face down position.

Cheryl Gray RMT

Cheryl began her training in 1999 and has obtained a certificates from the Alberta Institute of Massage Therapy and as well as the Okanagan College of Massage in Vernon BC.    This is where Kim and Cheryl first met, and are the founding therapists of the clinic.

Her professional development has been in the areas of yoga therapy, myofacial release, posture improvement, chronic pain management & reflexology.

Yogic training over the past 9 years has been a huge focus and eventual Yoga Teacher training in 2010.  Cheryl feels this has been invaluable asset to her clients and treatments.

In her off time you may see her exploring trails, lakes and mountains with her family and their faithful dog Milly.

Britt Jonat RMT

Britt has been an RMT since 2011, graduating from the 3000 hour program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy.   She chose to become an RMT after playing soccer competitively in her youth landed her in the offices of healthcare practitioners, giving her firsthand knowledge of the important role manual therapy plays in preventing and recovering from injury.

Upon graduating Britt began working in Squamish, B.C. in private practice and with the Canadian National Ski Cross team. While she has worked with a wide variety of clients her focus has been in sports massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release and sports injuries.

Britt has personal experience in ultra running, completing both 50 and 80km races and in fitness competitions at a provincial level. She currently trains and competes in powerlifting and when not in the gym can be found enjoying the trails by bike or on foot.
